A new generation of educators from Moldova visited Estonia to learn about our educational system and best practices, and to explore cooperation opportunities. “Estonian experience is important and relevant to us due to our similar historical context but also because of similar size of the countries. With our European orientation and all our efforts we are making now in our new Ministry of Education, Culture and Research we hope to get soon results comparable with Estonia”, said Angela Cutasevici, State Secretary for Education. “Many reforms have just started on school curricula, vocational education and development of human resources and therefore it is just the perfect moment for learning from success stories.” After visiting many institutions, organisations, universities and schools, the members of the delegation underlined the importance of setting up internships and exchange programmes for teachers, cooperating with financing experts on the budgetary issues and setting up the e-school system.
