A delegation from Ukraine participated in a study visit to Estonia on October 20 – 27, 2019 organised by ECEAP to learn about Estonian best practices in two areas: E-Governance and E-Services, and to interact with city officials and community stakeholders involved in these initiatives. The visit provided an opportunity for delegates to compare and contrast the governance and service reform process and similar initiatives in their own cities in order to explore how Estonian practices, mechanisms and tools could be adapted for use in the Ukrainian context. Meetings were held in Tallinn, Tartu, Viljandi, Olustvere and Pärnu.
The visit took place in the framework of the international technical assistance Project “Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance” (PLEDDG) and was implemented by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities with financial support from the Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
